Proposal for Orekit 13.1.4

Hi all!

One week after the release of Orekit 13.1.3 I would like to perpetuate the Orekit mantra “Release early, release often” with a 13.1.4 version. The three following issues could be included in the patch:

  • #1841 Bug in parsing of bulletin A files
  • #1904 Bug in covariance blender
  • #1907 Bug in DSST propagation with event detectors

All these issues are fixed, so the patch can be released soon!

#1907 will require a small Hipparchus patch (i.e. 4.0.3 version). The fix is done, only the patch is required.

I propose to handle the Hipparchus patch and our friend @Vincent proposed, after a small cocktail :tropical_drink:, to handle the Orekit patch to learn the release process.

What do you think about this patch?

Did you resolved issue (documentation or code) that you would like to include in the patch (if not resolved yet, I propose to postpone the fix for the 13.1.5 patch)?

Yeah, go for it (both Orekit and Hipparchus).

I’m afraid 14.0 will really be late, so we need to have several 13.1.X versions rolling.

Hipparchus patch is on the way!

Hipparchus 4.0.3 is released!

I’ll create a post on the forum to announce the release (I still need to update the website but I’ll do it tomorow)

A merge request is currently running on patch-13.1.4 branch to merge the update from 4.0.2 to 4.0.3 in Orekit pom.xml. Once merge, I’ll merge @bastien.le-bihan merge request. And once Bastien request merged, Vincent “the DuckMan” Cucchietti (@Vincent) will be able to start the Orekit release.

Hipparchus update and Bastien’s MR are both merged. @Vincent the stage is yours!

Thank you @bcazabonne ! I have merged the last pending MR for issue 1883.

I’ll handle it later this afternoon.
