Good morning. I am new to OREKIT and I have been trying to implement a simulator for pseudo-range and carrier-phase measurements. I am basically following the JAVA tutorial MeasurementGenerator.java, re-adapting all in Python and to the context of GNSS measurement. I was wondering if something similar has been already implemented and available or if that tutorial is the closest thing to what I am trying to do. Thank you in advance.
Hi @DavideBC welcome,
It has already been implemented, but it is not available (this is what I am doing at my day job).
The tutorial you mention is probably the best starting point for implementing it yourself.
You should also look at the Rinex obs writer, as GNSS measurements are often produced in this format.
Thank you very much for your immediate response.
Just a related question. I would like to retrieve the name of the satellites involved in a GNSS measurement. I am using method getSatellites() of OneWayGNSSRange, but it is returning only the “receiver” satellite and not the GNSS “transmitter” satellite. Am i misinterpreting the purpose of that method? Is there a way to retrieve both satellite names/codes after the generation of the measurement? Thank you again.
