I know from Orekit documentation and your replies to specific question on Orekit forum that the FieldOfViewDetector is affected by the problem of detecting visibility points on the other side of the Earth, so that the detector can see through the celestial bodies. For this reason it is recommended to use the FieldOfViewDetector in combination with an ElevationDetector when working with visibility of ground stations.
Are there any other detectors that suffer from this same problem? If so, in which cases? For example the GroundFieldOfViewDetector, FootprintOverlapDetector or AngularSeparationDetector or any other.
