it would be nice to also have some code bug fix too.

We could even subsequently release a patch for Orekit (see milestone).

If somebody is willing to release Hipparchus, I could take care of Orekit.

I am currently overwhelmed with work (and I think I will work throughout my holiday time…).
There is also a patch from Francesco for constrained optimization that could be added (but I did not found time to look at it).
Francesco’s PR is gigantic and probably API breaking so it would need to wait for Hipparchus 5.0 I think.
Rather than releasing a patch for the POM fix, we could instead go for version 4.1 now as the milestone is substantial and has no open issue
Unfortunately I don’t think I can do the release all by myself…
