Publishing a new 4.0.x version?

One contributor proposed a fix for a build problem in the 4.0.x series. He asked is we could publish a patch version including this fix.

What to you think?

Hi Luc,

it would be nice to also have some code bug fix too.
Maybe this if confirmed?

We could even subsequently release a patch for Orekit (see milestone).

If somebody is willing to release Hipparchus, I could take care of Orekit.

I am currently overwhelmed with work (and I think I will work throughout my holiday time…).
There is also a patch from Francesco for constrained optimization that could be added (but I did not found time to look at it).

Francesco’s PR is gigantic and probably API breaking so it would need to wait for Hipparchus 5.0 I think.

Rather than releasing a patch for the POM fix, we could instead go for version 4.1 now as the milestone is substantial and has no open issue

Unfortunately I don’t think I can do the release all by myself…
