Orekit 13.0.2 released

The Orekit team is pleased to announce the release of Orekit version 13.0.2.

Highlights in the 13.0.2 release are:

  • Decompose path from file name when building a DataSource from a String.
  • Allow using the last date from GlobalIonosphereMapModel ionex files.
  • Improved robustness of NeQuick models equations for line-of-sight in the meridian plane.
  • Improved robustness of NeQuick models equations for line-of-sight close to zenith.
  • Fixed interpolation error in Rinex clock splicing.
  • Wrong treatment of adjoint singularity in indirect shooting.

This version depends on Hipparchus 4.0.1.

That’s an excellent cruising speed. :wink:
When I think that just a few years ago:

  • the team believed that releasing once a quarter introduced instability;
  • people who wanted a bug fixed in the meantime could simply clone the Git repository and recompile Orekit locally.

What a long way we’ve come. :slight_smile:
