As you’ve probably noticed, during my vacation, I deployed Anubis to stem the flood of requests generated by AI bots on the website and forum. I didn’t do this for GitLab, because configuring Anubis for GitLab is more complicated, and I wasn’t sure I’d be able to respond quickly enough during my vacation if a problem arose.
I’ve just done that. Please let me know about any issues you encounter so I can adjust the Anubis configuration.
For now, I’ve set up a mild challenge in the Anubis instance deployed in front of GitLab. If that isn’t enough to curb the bots, I’ll make the challenge more difficult.
